FOREVER
‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ is not just something that I
have heard or felt in the wildest of my dreams but in reality too. It’s so easy
to say forever, isn’t it? And equally or comparatively even more difficult to
actually mean it. We are living in a universe which may last forever or it may
not. We are living in a world which is predicted to end, what if it doesn’t? We
live a life which may end in seconds and if not can even last more than a
century. If one of the most humungous things in the space and the space itself
cannot be predicted or measured, how are we so judgemental about forever! How
long does forever lasts? Sometimes just a minute.
We merrily say our family and friends or our loved
one’s that we are going to be around them or stay with them forever. But how
often we really do it? That very statement becomes a joke to laugh on or a
tragedy to cry about after few months. As much as forever gives us glee, its
hurts us with the same force. And yet forever is wished for, in any case,
expecting happiness and hoping for surplus of the same, which later being in
excess leads to unending sorrow. It takes unshaken courage and sacrifice in
abundance to feel or make feel the existence of Forever.
Forever is the most beautiful thing if it happens to
last and find no ends, but the most dreadful thing if there’s a dead end. It’s
always easy to end relations and promises and commitments, it takes fractions
of seconds. One needs might and selfless love to make forever work in the most
practical and actual sense. Everything depends on you. If you wish and strive
to make it happen, forever will be for-ever or else, Never!
