Greetings to all the readers, lately I
haven’t been posting a lot, since I was appearing for my HSC examination. The
exam is over. (Yayayayayayayyayay- it might not be the happiest feeling for
you, but here, inside…… I feel the freedom.) When you are in 11th,
you probably live in obscurity and the time you step in your college for the
second year, unexpectedly the whole world knows about it. Your parents start
the daily doses, they start giving you autobiographical examples of eminent personalities
and expect you to remember the success mantras. I know you don’t give a single
shit about it, neither did I. It’s absurd that none of my relatives ever happen
to buzz me on my extra-curricular achievements, but they do come home with
expensive pens and wish me for the boards. They most unexpected people call you
to make you realize that you are going to write your HSC examination. I wonder
sometimes do they come for the free snacks or to flaunt their duty and role of
being the family members. My parents have been very cooperative, unlike many.
They have given me the liberty to use my phone, whenever it was needed. They
cheered me every 2 hours with jokes and hilarious anecdotes. They do have expectations,
like every parent, but they have trust in me and my capabilities. So thank you
Mom and Dad and my brother who is reading this and will HAVE TO SHARE MY BLOG
with his friends.
So coming back to what Is really prominent, is
that our education system and society has unnecessarily bombarded about “How
Important these petty SSC and HSC examinations are! “A friendly advice to those
parents, please stop the Madnesssssssss. Your children are not machines. They
are born with innate talents and they will use their skills and knowledge when
the time comes. You have heard such words from many people, I know but then why
am I still reading about students hanging themselves on those poor weak Fans?
Why am I hearing about a Virar based boy dying of a cardiac arrest at the age
of 17? It is horrendous to hear teenagers dying while taking selfies! If you
guys are roaming in the corridors of heaven or hell, does it sound funny
now? Stop being so careless! Don’t
commit such fatal mistakes. You are not going to live to learn from a fatal
mistake. Commit tiny ones. To my knowledge, some of the students are yet to get
done with their exams, CHILL. Think why is only SSC and HSC are considered so
significant? Why not other grades? And if you hear your brain answering, “because
they decide our educational and memorizing abilities” then kill that very
thought now! Games and novels/books are enough to decide your memory Standard
and educational status. If your mind is not ready to shut that thought, then
question yourself, if these two examinations decide your abilities, why aren’t
they showing you the papers after getting them checked? Why only the final report card is handed in
your hand? And if the papers are
rectified when you notify them, why are you charged for it?
Take the knowledge
home, from the school. And not mugged up pile of books. Love what you learn and
what you are taught. Read. Write. Draw. Sing. Dance. Laugh. Cry. Shout. Eat.
Roam. Because when you’ll be probably 25, you won’t get time for this and by
the time you’ll be 30 may be, you would be utterly embarrassed to do half of
the things. Time doesn’t take time to pass. Hold it before it tries to run
away. Embrace it. Don’t kill yourself for such petty things, there is no
PUNARJANAM, that’s bullshit. There are greater milestones to achieve. The world
is waiting for each one of you. Believe me or not, every single person is
important and valid, even your watchman, your “Dudhwala” “Safaiwala”, everyone.
We are a system, not even the secretary general of UN can guarantee its
existence if one of you wishes to exit this structure. Stay. Count on yourself.
You are beautiful. Wherever you are, be happy, trust me that’s a very good place,
I am in a borivali local, crossing Malad, the world here is smelly and pathetic.
But don’t get stuck, there is always a better place. Before this gets
intolerable, let’s me conclude, live, for there are millions of things to do,
be self- decisive of your life. I am writing because you matter to me. Each one
of you and your lives too. Smile, Love and conquer! Because you are much more
than what you think you are!
