LETTING IT GO- IN JAIPUR.

I am at present in Jaipur, for those who are reading me. I left Indore for Jaipur on 26th October, a cold wednesday at around 7 in the evening and was standing on the
Kushabhau Thakrey Marg nearly 25 minutes from our hotel Siddhant. Took a Tuk-Tuk which got punctured in the middle of the highway and then got a tempo. This bus got us to Kota at 6:30 in the morning, a bumpy ride for sure. Kota the city of corporates wasn't that cold. The sun rose as my eyes rose to take a glance of the city.  the well read and heard  stories of  school books and pictures seen of industries polluting the city was for the first time witnessed by me. Jaipur was nearly 240 kms away from Kota and the journey till the city was horrible, thanks to the Roadways. Sindhi camp was where we got down around 12:30 pm on 27th October and passed through Durgapura to reach home. They call this, 'The Pink City' dont get them wrong, the sky isn't pink, its the color of the structures here, not completely pink, slightly giving it the shade of the same. Jaipur is a beautiful city. Clean. Spacious. Happening. I managed to have some, 'Me Time' while the city was hustling and bustling with 'Diwali'. To note, Jaipur is lit during the festival, from the streets to the houses, from the Circles to the commercial places as well. Out here on an adventure trip all by myself, understanding the place becomes quite difficult without having interactions with all parts of this society. I question mostly everything that the Jaipuri's follow. Some things that are unique here are, the names of the delicacies which are made during diwali, 'Karanji', 'Chakli', 'Shankarpali' etc have different names here and a minor change in the recipe. To my no surprise, Pani Puri here is called, 'Gol Gappe and Patashe'. Some of the places you should not miss are, 'The Pandit Kulfi' a shop which is 65 years old dating back to 1951, 'Gopi ki Lassi','The Jaipur Dairy's "Cold Coffee" I wont assure you but, I think it's better than the Starbuck's! Do go for a visit at 'ChidiyaGhar' not many, but the few animals caged there, unfortunately will keep you in Awe. Its a lovely experience watching animals wander around. I cant remember the last time I visited a zoo. Certainly Childhood seems to disappear. The White Tiger held my heed for more than 20 minutes. The city finds its charm in the Architecture, the lights, the food of course, the people lastly. Its a developing city no doubt, but just physically, not mentally. I will be visiting more places, this time of historical importance, will write about them soon. I have seen things I didnt wish, been around them and made it through. Everything that isn't my thing, I managed to make it a thing around me, familiar to me. To be receptive towards it and know the fact that you cannot stop the universe from working the way it wants to. Neither you can bring changes in time nor the places you would be at.  It will work the way it wants to work, dont try to work it your way, they will simply kick you out of  this cycle and I am not sure about you, but I want to be a part of this universe. Control, the Uncontrollable and receive the Unreceivable. Moreover sometimes, phuggu says, let it go... you'll be okay. Everything will be okay.
